Crafting
Crafting becomes available after completing an account bound one time quest to save Artificer Leo Noerde. As it turns out, Leo has lost almost all of his schematics detailing how to craft superior quality items and it is up to the player to locate them. Once the player locates a schematic and brings it back to Leo, the item contained in the schematic can then be crafted in the current game and in any subsequent games. There are five different crafting materials and they are called Tithril, Bearskin, Flexweave, Hardwood and Scrap. Crafting MaterialsTithril ore can be found when the player digs through a wall or boulder using a digger. If the digging roll is a critical success, tithril will be placed on the ground. Bearskin can be found on all bears. All you have to do is to kill one before it kills you and you're good to go. Flexweave can be found on all spiders that are big enough to eat you. They are even kind enough to supply you with a spindle for the thread. Hardwood can be found on any breakable wooden item whether it is a door, chest, sign or whatever. If the roll to break is a critical success, hardwood will be placed on the ground. Scrap can be found when the player destroys a weapon, armour or shield by throwing it to a wall. If the roll to hit is a critical success, the player receives a scrap in the inventory. Note that there might be other sources for finding crafting materials and these are just the most common and easiest ways to find them. Imbued Orb SpellThis special rule means that the item teaches one of the five orb spells to its wielder. The spell is forgotten once the item is removed (assuming that the spell is not otherwise known by the wielder in which case this rule has no effect). |
